In accordance with the Supreme Court's Order
of the 16th May certain deductions have to be made from the proceeds of sale before paying over the balance to your cliant the Liquidator of the Deutsch-Asiatische Bank. I have today written fully to H.M.Consul-General, Canton, instruct- -ing him as to the deductions to be made and requesting him sc soon as the sale is completed to forward a statement of account to Kessrs. Johnson, Stokes and Master of Hongkong together with a remittance for the net balance shown in such account. This net balance should be somewhere in the neigh- -bourhood of Hongkong 8103,000 and wil, not be sufficient fully to pay off the mortgage debt with interest or to pay the Respondents costs.
